Dream in the Ash Trigger Warnings

If you're considering reading Dream in the Ash, I wanted to make sure all readers were aware of the mature content in the book, including: 

- Disturbing scenes of death and violence with descriptions of gore. Specifically, there are violent altercations with blood, scenes with violence against women, executions, and murder.

- Prostitution. Specifically, there is a prostitution ring where other former inmates are exploited and employed in a sex club environment. There is some violence against the main character by her pimp (see above for more information on the violence aspect).

- Explicit language

- Consensual sex, but this is more of a mention than an on-page spicy scene (the books will get spicier as the series continues).

- Graphic drug use. Specifically, hard drug usage that is descriptive and an OD. There are scenes that involve injection and also descriptions of how the drugs feel.

- Addiction. This is simply a theme throughout the book as the main character has a lot of trauma and mental health problems.

-Neurodivergent rep in the form of telepathy. The main character hears voices, and sometimes these voices are destructive, as a person with auditory hallucinations may feel. I personally have bipolar I with auditory hallucinations, so this is taken from lived experience and is not meant to be a representation of all mental health experiences or a diagnosis of any kind.
